Is my yorkie, really a yorkie?

She's a cutie. Some of the clearer pics show an almost "wirey" forehead at around the "eyebrows". Not sure what age she was here. Plus there are two definitive brown/goldish spots at the beginning of her eyebrow, I've never seen this so clearly defined that way in a Yorkie.

You have her now, and we will love to see her as she matures. Yorkie or Yorkie mix who cares? You can always do a panel although there is no really definitive one out there, it can be fun to know what your pup maybe mixed with

She sure has a lot of Yorkie attributes! It may be the amount of dark fur she has that is bringing on the comments. Many Yorkies have more of a mixture of dark and light colors. If you look at many of the pictures here and on other Yorkie sites you will see the difference.

She is very cute and some people always seem to want to make their comments on other people's dogs! Most usually have no idea of what they are talking about.

If she is not a pure yorkie, she sure has a lot of yorkie traits! So many I recognize in my Copper. I'd say Yorkie for sure, but then I'm not an expert.

Very cute! My best guess would be maybe a yorkie cross chihuahua?? She does look to have taken more to the yorkie side though. I had a yorkie poo before who looked almost pure yorkie. Her brother and sister from the same litter looked almost full poodle, so it's really neat to see how they turn out. I think she looks very sweet and I look forward to seeing more pictures of her as she grows up.

Oh and I'm just totally guessing at the mix here. I've got no prof knowledge.

My little Kyra had a lot of black on her face for a long time and we got the same questions but I can assure you she is a yorkie. I think this little one is also. First picture she was 4 months second she is 6. I personally love the darker color.

She's very cute. Her hair seems like she could be a mix. She looks like she has wiry hair. She looks mostly like a yorkie so she could be a full yorkie with non standard features.

she's a cutie, looking at some of the pictures I see a little bit of dushaund in her, but just a tad, other than that I would say mostly yorkie. But LOL i am no expert either
