Teapot!!!

I just wanted to let everyone know that Ladybug is a purebred teapot yorkie! she's 10 months old and weighed in yesterday at 11 pounds!

Your post reminded me of the convo I had today with a woman that worked at Sbux. I took Georgie there for our daily outing and she said "Oh I want a dog that small." To which I started outlining all the health issues and just general concerns a dog his size has. After I went through everything and the cost she said "Maybe I need to do some more research and consider a dog a little bigger." I was glad she said that.

She also asked if he was a teacup and I told her all about that as well. Poor woman was probably thinking of gosh why did I even say anything LOL.

Teapots ARE teapots, cuz you just can't fit that much love and personality into a 6 pound dog!!!
Bentley is the biggest Yorkie my vet has ever seen ... 15 lbs!!!

I wanted a yorkie for a few years, but I didn't like that all the ones I had seen seemed so tiny and fragile so we actually looked at other breeds for a while. Boy I tell you, I feel like I lucked out with my 11 pounder! I do get lots of "Wow that sure is a huge yorkie!" or comments that she must be a mixed breed because yorkies aren't that big, but I say at least I don't have to worry about handling her delicately!

Although we do not belong to the teapot club, I think all Yorkies are just plain adorable! I've seen many bigger ones and I always just want to take them home with me they are so cute! Tee hee! Katie Scarlett has stayed at 5 pounds for a while now so I am not sure if she will get much bigger, but as long as she is healthy...she could be as big as need be.
