I wanted a yorkie for a few years, but I didn't like that all the ones I had seen seemed so tiny and fragile so we actually looked at other breeds for a while. Boy I tell you, I feel like I lucked out with my 11 pounder! I do get lots of "Wow that sure is a huge yorkie!" or comments that she must be a mixed breed because yorkies aren't that big, but I say at least I don't have to worry about handling her delicately!
