| We've got black-out linings on our curtains Harry sleeps until we wake him - be it 6.30 during the week or 10 a.m. at the weekends But then maybe he's just a lazy little boy....!!! Sally + Harry x |

| Yes (how is that for an answer). Sophie Kate like to get up around 6:00 am (which is not always daylight). She will be 4 years old in a few weeks and it has been about 3.5 years since I slept past 6:30 am. The good news is I have learned to love my early mornings, I can get so much done.

| Nope Mine get up when we do, which is usually before the sun When we do sleep in, they stay in bed, like good little girls They are pretty lazy and I think the only reason they get up is to get their breakfast

| I tried putting a heavy blanket over the window to keep the light out but Molly still woke us up at 6.30. Dh thinks she's in a time clock.

| This thread cracks me up after this morning. Gabby will sleep for a week if you let her. I have a routine. Get up, go to the bathroom, brush my teeth and get dressed. Then I collect Gabby and go outside. Well this morning, she "white eyed" me (a glaring look where you can see the whites of her eyes), got up and walked to the other side of the bed and laid back down, followed with more "white eye". She is NOT a morning dog! The puppy has 2 speeds. Sleeping and mach3. Sleeping only lasts in short spurts and as soon as the sun comes up, she's licking my face, ready to go. I need to teach her to sleep in a little bit.

| Looks like it just depends on the dog. Like us some of them are early risers and others aare night owls. Millie will lay in bed as long as I do

| Everybody at my house will stay asleep as long as I keep it dark. As soon as any sun sneaks in, it's all over and everyone is up!

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | Katie Scarlett does wake us up when she spots the first signs of daylight (usually light peeking down the hall from the kitchen window), but I can always say it's not time to get up yet and she will lay back down. We do use blackout drapes in our bedroom. Love them!!!!
