I am so very sorry for your loss. It is very tough losing a part of your family you love so much. It is probably just going to take time. I will keep you in my prayers. |
Such a sad story. I am sending hugs and prayers. |
I am so very sorry for your loss. |
Prayers going out to you and your family for your loss. I'm truly saddened and so very sorry. |
I'm so sorry. Your loss is so heartbreaking. You won't really get over your loss, but you will become accustomed to living with your loss. It gets easier over time, but the best medicine is another little yorkie when you feel ready to fill the empty spot in your heart. You won't be replacing your little love bug. You have plenty of love in your heart for another little one and you would make a great yorkie mom! |
I feel your pain and am so sorry for your loss. She wasn't a Yorkie, but she was the first dog I'd ever had. We had her since I was three and she was probably about 17 years old when her back legs gave out. We got her chiropractor appointments and for a while it worked, until it stopped working and she stopped eating and drinking. When we took her in to the vet, they found a mass near her lungs but couldn't identify it. I remember holding her in my arms just before we made the decision and the entire vet office was in tears. Afterward, to this day (That was in 2007) I still have trouble dealing with it. It's just good to know that people are there for you and that he is in a better place. It's hard because you love them so much, but it would have been torture for him to keep him in the condition he was in. Just know that he didn't hold any of it against you and that you were with him before he closed his eyes for the last time. He knows you will never leave him, as he will never leave you. My heart goes out to you, love. |
I am so very sorry for your loss. There are not words to describe how you feel right now, but I can tell you, most of us have been there. I had lost my little Raindrop, and my heart felt like it had broken. I felt the pressure in my chest, and cried all the time. She was my baby. I did push my friends and family away from me, and thank God, they all knew that, that wasn't really me, and that they would be there for me anyways. I am sending you some big hugs, and to tell you to take your time. When it's right, you will again find love with another baby. In your own time. :aimeeyork |

I'm soo sorry for your loss, time heals all wounds....your heart will heal and only you will know when the time is right to add another baby to your heart. That baby will not replace Cosmo, but there will be room in your heart for another. R.I.P. Cosmo |

Thank you again, |
I posted an album under my profile with pictures of Cosmo...enjoy! I haven't figured out how to get his picture to my profile! |
RIP Cosmo I can feel your pain. 2 years ago this August we had to have our beloved Angus, at 2 months shy of 15, put to sleep. I thought my heart was physically broken. I cried non stop for weeks. Yes, with time you will be able to think of him without crying but even now when I look at his picture on my night table, I still feel very sad. A year ago next week a new little lad entered our lives called Howie. He will NEVER replace Angus but each yorkie we have had over the years has held their own very special place in our hearts. I will be thinking of you and sending out good vibes. Be comforted by the fact Cosmo has no more pain now and you did the right thing for your little pal in the end. |
