So, this is about my third day training my little NOW nine week old Yorkie, Chewie to sit and high five (give paw or shake). I just wanted to share with my fellow YT how GREAT he's doing! What a smart and cute little guy!! You are a great trainer. I can't get any of mine to shake and only 2 of the 4 will sit on command.

We brought Paisley home and tried to start training but she goes GAGA over food and is to hyper to do tricks! Great job!

From what I noticed, Chewie works with me better AFTER his nap. He stares at the food a lot when we train, but as long as he gets the concept of command + him/her doing it = treat then I continue to do it till he just does it without being told. Then afterwards, I pretend I have a treat in my hand but instead of treats. I praise him in a very excited voice, lots of kisses and petting and good boy/girl.
