| Monkey see, monkey do I have never seen my husband so angry at Lexi and Tori. He took the girls outside for a few minutes and he was sitting on the patio watching them and they BOTH went under the fence into the neighbors yard. He took off, ran and jumped the fence and started yelling SIT. Well, scared to death they both sat and didn't move til he picked them up. He put them back over the fence and they both coming running in and hide. Then here he comes mumbling and cursing under his breath. I asked what happened and he didn't answer, he just went in got the phone book out and says "I'll show them, I'm haveing a new fence put up asap" again I asked what happened and he tells me. I couldn't help but to laugh, cuz he was so mad and I have never heard him yell at either of them. After 40 min. on the phone he found someone to come out Monday and give us an est. on a new privacy fence. That way there is no places for the to get out. (Ihope) I forgot to say it is only 14 degrees here today, poor guy...

| LOL Meanwhile, how long were you asking for a new fence? Thats how it is around here. I'll ask for something and hubby will put it off and put it off... Then the first time he gets inconvenienced, BAM whatever it is gets done the next day!! I've learned that if I wan't to expedite anything, it has to become an inconvenience to hubby in some way. Works every time!

| Actually, he has been wanting a new fence up for awhile, and I have put it off. I think privacy fences look nicer, but I am very social with my neighbors. I like the ideal of being outside and talking with the neighbors, besides Lexi's best friend lives behind us and if we don't give Ally (little dog behind us) attention I'm afraid no one will.

| Funny yes, but thank goodness your girls listened! Congrats on having such well behaved pups! If my little girl got off on an adventure, I am not so sure she would listen to me yet from a distance. You gave me incentive to work on some commands, for sure! Nice job on obedience training! And your poor hubby... I can just see him going over that fence...

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Hehehe They were SCARED SITLESS !! I sure know he was scared - Cheri did it once to me and most of you got to see MY fence - I fixed it all by myself and boy does it look like it - actually ....it looks like I was Drinking when I fixed it and I wasn't ! Good luck getting a new fence - once they figure out they can go under they WILL try it again Your husband sure loves his girls - That was funny but could have been awful. |

| Congrats on teaching them to obey!! We have to be so careful with Scooby, if he slips by us and gets out the door we run ourselves to death and try to be sneaky to catch him. He knows its bad, he will come inside and hide under the table every time, but I am scared to death it will happen one day and he will end up ran over. If its dark outside, we turn out all lights and that usually gets him back as he is chicken too! Any ideas on how to get this stubborn brat to mind? Oh, my husband has his own privacy fence company! Guess who is the only person w/o a privacy fence?? ME! He built a play yard off the screened porch with a doggy door to give scooby a place to play outside....I was totally left out, maybe if I run off I might get a fence. |
