| I was looking at pictures of Callie as a pup and its amazing the change from when she was a little black puppy with a little tan on her to now kinda silvery black on her body with tan legs and I guess you would call her head tan but she looks like a little blondie

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | I am not sure why, but I remember reading before we got Katie Scarlett on their coats changing colors. Katie Scarlett's face and legs have lightened up to a light caramel color, but I think she is going to stay a darker brown on her back. Her Mom was a darker colored Yorkie.

| Miss Priss is changing again, right now her back has a silver streak down the back and her handle "this is what dh calls her stub". the top of her head is a really light tan, is was gray looking before. I love it, I think she is going to be a gorgeous young lady..love the changes and surprises.

| I love the changes, too.... Makes you wonder what colour they'll be tomorrow... Plus, we've had so much rain in the UK lately, maybe all that colour's been washed away.... Sally + Harry x |

| I think that is the most fun part of having a Yorkie you get a new puppy at least once a month

| It's funny you say that. Today when we we're out, I saw a shaven yorkie who was quite silvery. It had a pretty silver saddle. Perhaps it's coat will grow dark as it gets longer, like your yorkie? I think Tatiana has changed colors since I gotten her (over a year and half ago). She's become more red at her points (tips of nose, ears, and feet). |

YT Addict | I know!!! I like the black coat. It will turn grey when they mature. Miles' coat is slowly turning grey but is the "standard" adult color. |

| Jackson changes almost every time he's groomed and he's 3.5yrs old!!! It's so funny. This past time he was really dark on his back when he was shaved. Sometimes he's real silver. It always grows back out silver tho once it's longer.

But, if you get a raincoat with a white liner, you can see if the color's bleeding out in the rain...no wait...just kidding! I love the color changes...a Yorkie's color DNA program is a wonderful and secret surprise! Why question when you can sit back and watch and enjoy!
