| Welcome to YT. I'm sorry your lil girl is so miserable. You could try giving her homemade broth until she is able to eat on her own. In fact, she may be able to eat some chicken breast, without the skin, later. It would be soft and not irritate her sore mouth.

I would soak some bread in warm chicken broth....they will usually drink chicken broth when they wont touch anything else.....Save the boneless, skinless chicken you boiled to get the chicken broth, and you can grind it up fine texture, mix in just a little of the broth so it isnt too dry, and feed her that when she will take it...you can also try chicken baby food now, until she will eat the ground up chicken....I dont know if you have Pedialyte (electrolyte water) in UK.,for kids that are vomiting....give her that in her water bowl, but she may not like it......you may need to give her that with a syringe....if you have that available, get the unflavored one...she should start feeling better in a day or so...they didnt give you any pain med for her? | |

| Your poor yorkie. You can also try cooked chicken and rice. Make sure to finely dice the cooked chicken, and cook the rice extra mushy. I hope your yorkie feels better soon. Last edited by MidnightUnicorn; 05-07-2012 at 11:33 AM. Reason: Typos |

| Welcome to YT sorry about your baby, hopefully she will be back to normal in no time..some great advice from the others here, I have nothing to add except when mine are not eating well and/or sick I replace their water with pedialyte.

| Hello and welcome to YT! I'm sorry that your little one isn't doing so well.. When I first got simba he wasn't eating much. I tried many things. I found that if you add chicken broth and let the food absorb the liquid, it works best. I tried water and it wasn't as effective. Hope she feels better! |
