| I always have fresh water available for Ahi. Depends on how hot the day is the more or less she will drink. She may have a few laps of water before bed but she doesn't go wee wee until morning.(she is also potty pad trained so she can go whenever she wants) She has 2 bowls of water in the house that is refreshed about 3 times a day.(doesn't have to be empty)

| Fresh filtered water available 24/7 here too although Lexie sleeps straight through the night and never wakes up to drink any. I wash the bowl out in the morning and change the water twice a day. |

| I also leave water out 24 hours a day for Ladybug. We refresh her water 2-3 times a day. We don't have to monitor her too much since she rings the bell when she needs to go to potty.

| We also leave fresh water out for Roxie all day. We change it in the morning before we leave for work, and in the evening with dinner.

| There is always tap water out in a small shallow bowl and we refill it about 3 x a day. He doesn't typically drink after 8pm and we take him out for the night at 11pm and he is crated and sleeps until 7-7:30am. |

| Thank you for your varied responses! I took the water away at night on first night with Ellington, but last night I left it out. I don't think he leaves my bed all night though.....;-) |

| I give Gracie fresh distilled water in a glass bowl that is cleaned three times a day. Now, a puppy that you are trying to house break may need to have the water controlled a bit more than that. You can't give a puppy water all night long or it will be peeing all over the place! |

| Ellington isn't a puppy, I rescued him. But as I don't know his routine yet, I am being a bit more cautious! |
