Associated Press question

Hello, I am a reporter with the Associated Press writing a story on baby boomers and their pets. I'm particularly interested in speaking to boomers who are devoted to their pets _ your yorkies in this case _ and what their pet plans are for their retirement years. I'm sure you will get a lot of responses. I'm sure there are a lot of Baby Boomers on here that will be willing to discuss their devotion to their dogs I would, but I'm not old enough

UMM not to be rude here, BUT how do we know you are who you say you are,and aren't out just to get people's phone number?? In this day and age a person has to be very careful about who they give information to.
I guess I may be considered a baby boomer (56)?

I guess this is true... It might be better for him to contact people through email. There are a lot of scams out there, and you have to be careful giving people your information.

Well, THANK YOUUUUUUU!!!! I am getting beaten about the head and face with hundreds of red flags!!! But then, I may be considered "overly cautious".....STRANGER DANGER!!!!!!!!

LOL "Stranger danger" I love it. I agree, I would not give a stranger my phone number, too much information can be learned about you from just your phone number, such as your exact address even if it's unlisted.

I can't figure out what the question means? What are my plans for my pet in the retirement years? Not sure what that means at all. Or does it mean, "do I plan to have a pet in the retirement years?"

Well Michael if you are legit. Please post your contact info with the Associated Press, how-ever do they actually have reporters on full time staff?

Let us see if you are real before we agree to any phone interview. And Btw you should have known these questions would have been asked; and provided the information in advance. And yes I am a Boomer

AP does have many full-time reporters, but good call to ask for further identification.

I did see that when I was trying to do a search. Not sure if it is him or not. How ever he did send me a PM with a phone number to contact him. Trying to decide if I should??

I wouldn't. Why doesn't he just write his questions in the thread and have people PM his the answers? If you call him, he will know you name address and many other details. A real reporter does know that older people are a popular target for scam artists.
