| Pregnant or Not Pregnant Again I have bred my female and I have no clue if she is pregnant. Took her to the vet who did a ultrasound at what he thought could be only 17 days said her uterus looked bigger than he thought it should but wanted to repeat in 10 days to see what else at that time. I have decided to just wait if I see her getting fat then i will take her again . Right now she is 26 days from the last breeding.Any thoughts? |

| Not alot more that I can tell you besides that she was bred the 30th of May , April 1 and April 3. She is sleeping alot, very close, cuddles all the time more loving to me than normal, usually its my husband but he is gone all day lol. So I am getting all the lovings. The other two times I tried to bred her nothing happened those were with other males, this time it is with a male I bought for my daughter. She was very receptive to being bred all three times the last time alittle less but yet all were happy visits as my daughter put it lol. |

| I have never done US at such a short date after breeding....I think you will need to wait longer before you can see puppies forming! Just curious what lines are you breeding...what is behind your dam and sire? |

| what are your intentions? Its Sunday, and I am lounging in my p.j.'s in my recliner with both my pups snuggling under my laptop! I am surfing on YT and I checked out this thread again because something about it bothered me. I went and checked out your public profile and I have to admit I am somewhat alarmed at your threads. It seems that for the most part you only come here when you need breeding advice. You started as an inexperienced breeder and your current questions seem to indicate you are still an inexperienced breeder. Why are you breeding? What are you breeding? Do you have a mentor? I'm not trying to offend you but I can't hush over what seems obvious to me and my BIGGEST FEAR is that you are using YT to further your education as a BYB business? I am saddened as you indicated that you were "animal control" and "K9", I expect so much more from people who work in these fields. Please explain yourself as If I am wrong I would like to know, if I'm not I don't want to participate in perpetuating this type of breeding. Thank You

| I am kind of surprised that your vet would do an ultra sound that early in a supposed pregnancy. Seems like quite a waste of time and money. Why do you need to know so soon? Pregnancy is one of those things....either you are or you are not. Is there some sort of health issue you are concerned about? I assume you wanted this mating to occur? When was the last time she was bred and how did it turn out? |

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | I do have a thought-if this breeding is not successful, which makes 3 breedings from 3 different males, Nature might be telling you something... Like now is a good time to neuter her. I also think US was done very early, and I'm not sure why the vet wanted to do it so early.

| Thank you for the nice answers from the nice people on here I knew there had to be many. As for all your questions, I am not a breeder that wants to be a breeder to sell and make money, I have plenty of money as it is. I have a special connection to this female that has to do with my father who just passed and I wanted a puppy from her or all the puppies from her because of the meaning this dog has to me. As far as vet check the male and female have all be checked and are healthy as can be and if dogs come open from Great Danes the vets call me because they know how much I put into the love and caring of my dogs, and have rescued many for reasons I would not discuss and found them loving homes. I have read countless books talked to vets and that on yorkie and breeding I am no as stupid as some think. I just thought others may think the US was done early I tought it was and why maybe because it was 115.00 dollars, but he said the next one would be free whenever I wanted to check again being very nice. So I hope you all have your questions answered here, I was just hoping for a glimmer of hope with this dog in case anyone else had a US to early and found out later yes there were puppies. |

Your explanation does not jive with ALL of your previous threads and/or posts. You have been adding to your collection of pups right along, this is not the first dog you have bred, according to your posts. Are all your other dogs neutered/spayed? You have started an identical thread in the past. If you were responsibly breeding your dog(s) 1 or more, you would be well versed in the field by now because you would have a mentor, and be in close communication with your vet. Your questions do not, in any way seem as though you have educated yourself, as you claim. Others have given you great information in the past and you are picking and choosing what suits your intentions. Spay/neuter your dogs and take all that money that you have and donate it to a reputable Rescue. Please. For the record, I still maintain my belief/opinion that you are a BYB that is using YT for education rather than breeding ethically. As a so called "Animal Control" you of all people should know better.
