| When does the weight gain stop our Dexter is going to be 1yr old in June. He is about 8lbs. Will he gain any more weight as he grows older? |

| Is he over wt at all, can you feel his ribs ? he may gain a bit as he fills out but probably not much. |

| What a pretty boy. He should fill out a bit more but why worry he still a wonderful small fur kid. Many here at this forum have Yorkies that are over the standard weight. |

| I think our yorkies are like our skin kids... Never know just what they will grow to be but love them with all our hearts! When Remy was about a year I use to worried about her weight.. At first I thought she was too skinny and was so happy she gained.. Then I was afraid age would never stop .. Lol So I would say he may gain another pound. Look up how to tell if a dog is overweight. They should have a bit of a waist.. Ribs feel like the back of your hand ( if I am remembering right) Rent is over 2 now and lost a few ounces and has settled into her adult weight nicely do your pup will too
