| The claims person for the company representing Waggin Train- Told me she knew what I was going through. Her medium sized mix dog was sick last year with acute renal failure. I asked her if she ever feed her dog these treats she said "yes before he got sick" but not since. I asked why. She said he wasn't allowed to with renal failure but she never even thought it could be the treats. Her company did not work for Waggin Train back then she said. The light bulb must have gone off because she started to cry while talking to me.

| The reason it is cheaper to make many products in China and other VERY poor countries is that labor costs them almost nothing. The workers live so far below the poverty line that we cannt even see them. They are willing to work for literally pennys an hour because jobs are so hard to find, because there are so many people per sq mile. Also there are next to NO regulations for quality control and the ones that they do have are only followed when the inspector shows up. I have become an avid label reader, not just the ingredients of a product. It is impossible to avoid "made in" not the USA but with a little effort you can keep it down some. The government in many of these countries have no value of life. Its all for me and non for the little guy. So very sad! |
