I must have missed a bit here. What is the surgery for?

Aww, what a stubborn boy. When my two have to take liquid medicine, I get down on the floor with them and put them between my knees and hold them. Then I take my left hand and open their mouths and with the right, I put the dropper at the very back of their tongue. This forces them to swallow, and they get it all.

I am worried about him tonight. He had to have 13 teeth extracted my poor little man and he has not wanted anything to drink at all. He is so small and has not ate all day so I am praying he will be ok until tomorrow. I am worried about the blood sugar going to low. He is doing a lot of shaking but they told me not to give him any pain meds until the morning because they gave him a shot that should last for 24 hours. I will sleep on the floor next to his xpen tonight so I can watch him. Is there anything else I should do. All he wants to do is sleep and then he gets up for a minute and then looks around all sad and just sits there staring at nothing really. I pray he will be ok. The good news is it only cost 285 dollars for everything.

Poor little man. Gizmo did the same thing when he was neutered and had about 14 teeth pulled. The next day, I put his food and warmed chicken brother in a food processor and gave him some, that seemed to perk him up a little.

Sending prayers for the little man. Try maybe putting down some plain warmed chicken broth to see if that entices him.

To just let him sleep and offer keep water in the x-pen in case he wants some but no food offered until tomorrow.

I think he'll be okay then. Just watch like you said you were going to. I'm sure he got some fluids from his IV. Poor little man, how big is he?

5.2 pounds and all my other furkids are between 6 and 15 pounds

Weird, he's the same size as my Gizmo.
Sending lots of prayers of comfort, know the little man is strong. He's made it this far.

How's little dude doing today? Hoping he is drinking and eating now.I felt so bad when I read he jumped off the counter,poor little baby.

Gizmo is up and about but I will not allow him to do much. He is still crying and when I say crying I mean this little guy cries like a person. It is just so sad. He ate this morning and took his antibiotics without much of a fight and he has been outside twice. He still looks so pittiful. He wants to be by me but does not want me to hold him cause it hurts. I have been keeping him in the x-pen but he is out right now laying by me as I type this.
