Max Main's Mamma Donating YT Member | Did you ever see the Sex in the City movie with the humping girl Yorkie? She was a very successful actress who made a career out of her talents. Maybe Hollywood??

| This is typically dominant behavior in females. |

Anytime the boys would bark or do something they werent supposed to do she would start humping them, it was the funniest thing to see haha! But she could never get her to stop. And ralph has never humped anything so I dont have any advice :-/ |

| Milo is only 12 week old and he is already humping his bed. I'll have to get some video next time he does it, very funny. |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Yes, it's very normal, Joey did this until he was neutered, but sometimes dogs will continue to do it even after they are neutered. It's a display of dominant behavior that is governed by the hormone testosterone, both males and females make testosterone in the adrenal glands and the amount varies greatly between dogs.

| My Shayla does this too. She has a pink sheep that she love to hump from time to time. Lately she's humped our Lindi Lou too that's twice her size! I'm glad to see she's not the only female that does this. She's going on 15 months now. |

| Ziva(3 yrs) still has an occassional bout, especially when she is overtired or bored. She has always done it and was the most dominant of her litter. Abby has never attempted it and cannot figure out what Ziva is doing! (I chose Abby as the most laidback little pup from her litter of 5 in contrast to Ziva's bossy-ness!) |

YT Addict | My 1 1/2 year old female Yorkie does this also! She has been spayed and will still try to hump her stuffed animals! She also tries to get my 11 year old Chihuahua interested but he is on heart medication so he is usually not in the mood. I thought it was odd also...........I'm glad you asked the question!!!!

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | That's pretty neat, he's 11 years old and still attracting the young ones, he sounds like Hugh Hefner!
