I hope to keep this thread going for a good while in the future. I know it will be tough, but i'll keep finding it and bumping it up as I have new pics along the way.
Here are the first pics to the legacy for you all....some are of all 6 (Courtney's 2 and Rio's 4 ) and some are just of Rio's precious 4. (3 girls and one boy)...there is a tiny tiny girl , and i dote and worry over her all day every day. We are having tails done tomorrow....I hate the thought of it. If it were up to me, I'd leave them long. But I feel that since the standard calls for it, I am going to go with the norm. Enough said about that for now...no debates on this on this thread please ,thats not what this thread is about. This is about a wonderful, beautiful mommy who gave her life for the life of these little angels, and a precious yorkie mommy who was loving enough to take these orphans in as her own... Hope you all enjoy. Many more to come in the coming days and weeks....

the pics of the two pups by them selves are blushy (judi's girl) and her brother, courtney's babies who are half siblings to rio's babies....just wanted to post those gorgeous babies too!

I am excited to witness these pups as they grow, and will delight in seeing any of Rio's legacy that you wish to share.

I am so happy that you have these tiny furry pieces of Rio to help to raise on her behalf. Enjoy them, nurture them, and they will go out into the world and do their mama proud.

thanks Glad...i enjoyed our chat ealiar and still cant get over the fact that we live so very very close...looking forward to meeting you in person soon...you can come help me any time you want to girl! my prayers are with wosie for a speedy recovery on that little leg....take care

thank you sherry lynn,,,that was one of my daugther's many pieces of "baby equipment" from years back...i had puppies right after she was born, one of my first litters...after she outgrew the baby stuff, i got to thinking that some of it may be handy for my puppies...and i was right! I also kept the "frilly basinette" with the head piece that moves up and down, wicker type, sooooo pretty, but its tall, and mommy's cant jump in and out....so, i use it once in while for pics...
Sure Would Like to have that Breast Pump back...lol i'm kidding, but thought was funny. Gosh, I need to laugh. That felt good.

Robbie...this is so great your doing this thread...It will help you through this journey of grief...and also help us here at Yorkie Talk who hurt right with you...and care~

Rio has a Legacy...and its a "Living Legacy". I'm proud of you sharing that with us~ I know we look forward to weekly updates on these babies...and Sweet Courtney who is caring for all 6.... She not only is a special "Fur Angel" to us...she is also a hero too~

Journaling like this is good therapy for the soul...and many of us would feel honored to share the footsteps your walking in right now...

And you know what..."Our Rio is so very proud of you too"~

I know you suffered a terrible loss but I can't help but be in awe of those little darlings - thank you for sharing them and their mommy was a true hero .....the BEST of luck with your puppies....I hope things continue to get better and your heart is gradually filled with love and smiles as you watch them grow

I think this is an awesome thread so we can keep updates on the puppies and the sweet new mom that took them in! Those are beautiful pups too! :luvu:
