Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | Greasy? Hey guys! Question.... Katie Scarlett has a minor infection in her right ear. I took her to the vet we use while visiting in Alabama. He gave her a Rx to clear it up. It's sort of liquidy but gel like too. Well it has made her hair really greasy. I just finished giving her a bath. Of course I put cotton in her ears as I always do and did my best not to get water in her ears. But even after her bath, her hair around her ears is still greasy. Like the meds did not wash off the hair. Anyone know any tricks that I could use to clean that med off her hair? It looks so uncomfy! By the way, a big thumbs up for yorkie splash & shine and our new wood pin cc brush. Her hair feels like silk and no tangles at all. Brushing her hair was like gliding on ice! Thanks for any help!

| My Chachi had to have an ear ointment once so I can recall the greasiness. Have you tried to use dawn dish soap on it. It is really good cutting through grease

| Been there! It might take a few more baths until finally that greasiness is gone. That stuff is like glue!!
