| A helpful dog food website Maybe I'm behind, but I just heard about this website. www.dogfoodadvisor.com I found it to be interesting and learned the dog food that I feed Bella a 4 star dogfood. |

| i, too, like this site. some are criticl of it because it is run by a dentist, not a nutritionist. This dentist lost a dog due to poor food/nutritian and has become self educated in the dog food arena. Many people on the site make their comments as well. i love my vet but I have come to determine that he/she does not know sqwat about dog food -- thinks Purina and Hill are good foods - but i would go to them for any medical issues.

| I agree - I like the site. Thanks for posting! The only thing I like to remember if that don't hung up on whether a food is "2 star" over "5 star" or anything like that. I often see people who are like "Oh but it rates 5 stars!!!" but really... they don't take into account the manufacturer, where the food is produced, and where the ingredients are sourced, etc. But I do like it because it's a nice place to view most all of dog foods and compare and contrast and see others experiences w/ the food as well.

Great post! I actually like DogFoodAdvisor better than Dog Food Analysis, where the authors have absolutely no credentials, and often the ingredient list is really outdated. Here's another one I like: The Dog Food Project - Identifying better products.

| I like how you can see what is in all the foods so you can compare them and stuff without having to go look at them at the store. I really like that you can sign up to be notified every time there is a dog food recall and the the different articles they have are great.
