He seemed to enjoy himself. He wasn't upset, shaking and so on. He also seems to ride real well in the truck which I am very glad of. My first Yorkie was a good rider too, he loved the road trips we took into the desert to go shooting. There was always so much for him explore as long as I kept my eye on him. I think Milo will be a good dog as long as I am careful and do the right things. It is amazing how fast they are able to get close to our hearts.

Joey's breeder warned me about collars so I agree with the others, but we do use a break away collar occasionally for decoration. The collar I have on him is really small and decorated with little dog bones. I got it so I could attach name tag and a small bell. I am researching harnesses right now but I haven't found the one I like and Milo can deal with, I'll find one.

How old is Milo? I am sorry I might have missed it in your post. Buddy Belts have great ratings. But if he is a pup you might get one from Petco or PetSmart. I think the first one I got for Rosie was about $15 from Petco. It was like this one. Petco Comfort Control Pink Dog Harness at PETCO It was ok for her. Glad you are getting one!

I also got Luma a harness from petco, until she is full sized and we can buy her a buddy belt She does great and she loves putting it on, she knows that means park or just sitting in the car on my lap!

Perhaps something like this would work until she is grown and you want to spend more on a harness:

choke free, non choking collar, leather step in harness, choke free collar, choke free harness, non choking harness
