| I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member  | We've taken surveys before on YorkieTalk and actually a very small percentage of people register their Yorkies. I don’t know if this is true of all breeds, but the statistics you see, are only of registered dogs, so if your dog hasn't been registered, it isn’t counted.

| Yorkies are 6th here in Michigan. It's weird because before I had Princess I hardly ever, ever saw yorkies--and still don't see many really. Maybe it's because I only have eyes for Princess.

| I'm going to GUESS that Labs are #1 here.... -goes to look- Yup! LOL. I see them everywhere. Being around the water and all. Pit Bulls are second. Yorkies are 3rd.

| It is interesting. But if you click around the states most of the top 8 are the same breeds in every state.
