| I have used peanut butter as well as cottage cheese. The cottage cheese always worked perfectly.

| Mine are not particularly fond of peanut butter. I do occasionally make them 'cookies' (treats) which include peanut butter as an ingredient, but I only use organic peanut butter with no additional ingredients including oils, and never use any peanut putter or other product which contains partially hydrogenated oil in it. I give pills in a tiny pat of butter just big enough to cover the pill.

YT 1000 Club Member | HA HA HA, My Male Sneakers is a total EXPERT at that ! Even when I push them down his throat, he somehow manages to be able to reject them. On some pill (forgot just what) that he had to take once, he would shake his head and sling the pill all the way across the Kitchen.

There is 'peanut butter cup' ice cream...why not peanut butter and cottage cheese? Plus, I love cheese with especially grape jelly or jam...also, I love cheddar cheese with apple pie...and French Dressing on pineapple rings...and probably a bunch more things together that may not seem to go together. Believe it or not, in my grammar school, they always put a hunk of cheddar cheese on top of the apple pie, and always served French Dressing on days when they served pineapple rings. I didn't know what the dressing was or what it was for when I was in 1st grade, so I put it on my pineapple ring...and it was soooo good, I continued doing it. So...ummm...no...I don't think it's weird at all.

| I've found that cream cheese works pretty well to hide a pill. I use that when mine get burned out on peanut butter. |
