| What does your Yorkie do when you have to leave? Just curious what your Yorkie, or dog does when you leave. My wife and I work from home so it's rare that one of us isn't around. But when I leave, Bailey watches my every move till I'm out the door. The other day I just had to take this photo when I got down the stairs. It had me laughing as I got in my car to go see a client. What do yours do? |

| We cant say go, bye bye ,leave or anything that means we are going somewhere we have to spell; it out and Chachis starting to get wise to that also. If we do Jewels starts a barking frenzy AND Chachi goes into his travel crate (because he thinks if he does you will take him with you) and whines. It is stressful when we leave

| Tibbe watches me getting changed and ready to go out and he stands there immobile in the hall the whole time with the accusatory look of a judge in his eyes. He then follows me down the hall and goes to the front window to watch as I go across the porch to the garage, back out and drive off. The last thing I see is my little judge standing in the window, paws up on the sill. Very often when I return, I find Tibbe asleep in the window on the sill, having long grown tired of standing there, I guess. But there is my little Yorkie, flagged out on the sill, waiting for his mommy. And when I come in, the little judge is long gone and all I can see is a blur of what looks like a Yorkie whirling around and around and when I sit, climbing all over me with kisses and sometimes little whines and yelps for a good five minutes.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Lol, cute picture! We have a TV loft/Man Cave upstairs and if we go down to the kitchen to cook or grab snacks or whatnot, we see 6 eyes peering thru our railing...they look like they're in jail. When we leave the house, Wylie runs to his "command center" (our computer room), and assumes his position for property management. Pfeiffer and Marcel follow us to the door and look at us like "why would ever leave the house? WHY?". And when we get back, they all go bonkers, even if we were gone for like 1 minute.

| Brandi knows the difference of when I am going to work and when I am going somewhere else. When I go to work....she just goes back upstairs to go back to sleep. Usually by the time I am leaving for work, she is knock out (sometimes snoring) again after eating and pottying. Now if I'm going somewhere other than work, she becomes like this velcro baby who sticks to me like glue. I figured out when she hears the alarm goes off in the morning she knows it time for me to work. But if she doesn't hear the alarm, and I attempt to leave, that's when she becomes velcro. |

| Leaving in the mornings is stressful stuff at our house! My poor Mylee starts to analyze every movement I make and she starts to get anxious the closer I get to actually leaving. I give her a treat on the rug and tell her to stay as I walk out the door and as soon as the door closes she's barking angry at me for leaving. Now, if we don't follow our routine for leaving, she will sneak up beside me as I am walking towards the door and literally jump up and bite my leg then start to spin circles and bark a vicious angry bark or charge at with the same growl and bark. So we stop and retrain. She has terrible separation anxiety. Poor girl. I often say, she's the most challenging I've ever had due to her anxieties, but also the most rewarding because I see progress almost daily with her. I can't imagine how she'd be if she were in a different home.

| Awww, that picture makes me feel sorry for the furbutt! You can tell Bailey isn't wanting you to go!! Rosie gets so depressed when I leave. She will climb on my bed on her pillow and lay her head down. She is sulking. Lol. Mikki runs and hides under the bed.

| When Gracie realizes I am leaving (about the time I reach for my shoes) she starts to pout. When I turn to say good by to her I see the little pout face resting her head on her paws, looking very sad. She is always very happy when I get home and all seems to be forgiven. She is such a good girl. |

| When I work I leave through the kitchen door into the garage. Bubba and Sissy walk me to the door, I say stay! and open the door. I then tell them go say goodbye to mommy and they run into the living room, get up on the chairs by the window and I wave to them as I drive away. My husband is home sometimes and he said they just go sleep on the couch after I leave. When it's time for me to come home he said they start sniffing under the kitchen door and generally hang around there till they hear the garage door go open. They are happier to see me than he is!

| Callie runs around behind me sometimes crying and then when she sees me put my shoes on and start to grab my stuff she runs to her food dish and starts eating as much as she can. My grandpa leaves the door open right when we leave (closes it after we are gone) so she can look out the screen and see us leave and that is the saddest thing ever.
