| ![]() Can you limit him to a small area. I keep Millie blocked off in my kitchen with baby gates. As long as she is in the kitchen she will use her pad, but if I let her run around the whole house she just pee's and poo's where ever she pleases |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | ![]() My 3 girls potty training went bad when I brought Nikki home. I was worried that Nikki would be the problem but he is better than my girls. They use pads or go outside but still have many accidents. I use to confine them to the back half of the house but since dh became ill I had to remove the gate. I just can't get them completely trained so I know how you feel.

| ![]() I'm having troubles getting my 7 month old Bella fully house trained as well. Good days and bad days (she'll almost always go number 2 outside, but peeing is an ongoing battle.) Anyway, for what it's worth, I think it all might have something to do with them not fully seeing you as the alpha dog. It might be that they see no reason to stop going in the house if there will still be the constant love for them. Of course, I'm not saying punish them harshly or withdraw love. I am saying that constant gooey love and really passive response to going in the house might just let them feel they can keep doing it. In other words, you as the pack leader has to really define where members of the pack can feel free to go. As this stage, probably not an easy fix, but I would suggest a crate training boot camp and/or careful evaluation of messages you give your dog (who leads walks?make them sit for food?make clear potty inside is bad?) Good luck |

| ![]() we had trouble like that with one of our little guys and we had to go back to the beginning and he was either in his pen area with room to play sleep and in the corner a potty pad .and when he was out in the living room with everyone he had to were belly band .we let him outside with all the others and then would out him back in his pen and he would pee on his pad instead of outside it took about 3 weeks of this and now he is very good about using his potty pad, he will be playing with everyone and if he has to pee he no runs back to his potty pad .he is 6 years old .i also take a potty pad with me if i take him to someone elses house and he now will go right to it as long as he knows where it is .hope that helps

| ![]() You are not a failure. Georgie is 6 and still has accidents in the house. Not sure if to Georgie they are accidents but that's what we like to call them to make ourselves feel better ![]()
