Hi, Thank you everyone! I spoke to the breeder last night and I will get to go pick one out next week!!! Yay. I am super excited. I did go to the dollar store today and I got a cute blinged t for her.

Gosh - I am not sure about her name yet. I was thinking about Trixie just because the family is use to that name. It would give me a part of my girl back - ykwim?? I guess I better start thinking names now!
I keep googling all the 4 week old videos on youtube. Its gonna be hard picking out one (just one) I think.

Congratulations, one thing I did before I picked up my new puppy was buy some receiving blankets so that his breeder could rub her hands and the mother's scent on the blankets. I really think it helped with his transition. Best of luck!

I have a list of both girl (for future possibilities) names and boy names

Oh How Great - Have you been getting photos? I would love to see some baby shots! I found this great person on youtube that has a group of videos of little yorkies each week so you see them grow. Playfull Yorkie Puppy's - YouTube I keep playing it

Nancy! We must be on the same wave length i have this great little cozy bed that I made for Trixie that she never quite took to so I washed that yesterday to get it to take to the breeders home. I have a bunch of receiving blankets - I should give her a few and then i could stick them in the cozy bed for her to snuggle up to and when one gets too messy I can just swap it out with another

Time to start looking for a nice set of bowls and get out Trixies old clothes too. The puppies parents are 6 and 4 lbs so she should be able to wear Trixies clothes for a little bit (she was only 3 1/2 lbs). Gives me time to make some new things for her

Any suggestions on baby toys to have on hand? Stuffies of course and a cat ball or 10 - lol. What is everyone's favorite baby toy??

The bed idea is perfect, I like that. I kept the receiving blankets in a little bag and as one was soiled put the washed one with the others and think it helped hold the scent longer. Have fun, it's almost like having a human baby, but no stretch marks!

I took the big blue blanket to the breeder and Tufty fell asleep in it and I rubbed his mum with it.

Nancy, I was lucky enough to meet Tufty the day he was born.
Teegy is not so sure. Had a sniff and was probably thinking "why is he on my blanket"
I'm sure I'll have a bit of jealousy at first but Teegy loooooooves playing with other dogs, so I'm sure he'll get over it quickly

PHOTOS!!
Not the greatest as they were on her cell. I told her I would bring my video camera and take lots of photos on Sat when I get to see them in person. So far I am liking the one on the carpet alone. Still trying to figure out who is who on the group shot. I really like the shorter nose/baby doll face. Hard to tell for sure though. They are 4 weeks and I get to see them on Sat at 5 weeks and pick my favorite. EEK - Gonna be so hard!

My breeder knows her dogs well and I let her decide on the parents.
I met the pups at 7 weeks and spent the weekend with them. I looked in their eyes played with them and made a final decision at that point.
Funny thing is she sent me a video at 4 weeks and said which one of you wants to be Tufty. The one I ended up with is the one who kept coming to her to be Tufty hahaha.
I took lots of vids of them playing with each other and playing with me. There was two boys and a girl in the litter and the girl Dasha is the cheekiest of imps. Tufty has attitude, this should be fun. Stanley his brother is a wee spark and the couple who are taking him are also taking little Dorothy from another litter and she is stunning.
