| OK.. so lets go back..Pink is for girls? last week I put out a thread about pink being for girls right? well man I was wrong and got an ear full for it.. So here in NY the weather has been so nice I may take Brandy out for three walks around our complex.. We know almost every pet momma out their and some daddies.. But last thursday We met someone new.. the cuties yorkie.. The pup had on a HOT PINK harness and black leash.. So Brandy always says hi to new pups and I said wow shes cute.. The pups dad got so mad and said "HE'S A BOY.. WHY DOES EVERYONE THINK HE'S A GIRL" So I said stop right their Mr. the only reason I thought it was a girl was because he is wearing and hot pink harness..my dog wears pink because she's a girl.. he said nicely sorry he didn't realize it.. but now that I told he was like oh that's whats going on..I said bye and walked away.. the next day the guy came to me and said sorry again and was like my wife put him on the wrong harness..lol that it was a hand me down..lol I laughed and told him I got it.. what do you guys think?..funny or what..

| personally , it does not matter too much to me. Oscar wears a blue or red harness vest and matching leash when we go out and people still say "oh she is so cute". go figure.... |

| That's funny! Up until my son started watching the Power Rangers he is 4 1/2 his favorite color was pink! Now it's Red for the leader of the Power Rangers. I would never put Georgie in pink (or my human son) and I would assume the same thing if the furbaby has on pink she's a girl......Did you tell him apology accepted? LOL Oh and people always assume Georgie is a girl and Coco is a boy and it's the other way around. Maybe because Coco is a Boxer and is big??? I am not quite sure why it is but yes it's annoying!

| I guess my question would be: so is the guy color blind? He didn't realize that his dog had on a pink harness?? I know that some guys wear pink ties and shirts these days but most hospitals still put the baby girls in pink and the boys in blue! To me it should be obvious that a dog walking down the street in a pink dress is probably a girl!.....well, in most neighborhoods anyway. |

| Lmao! That's funny. Rhia has a red harness/leash and gets confused for being a boy sometimes. I don't get it, but it's amusing! :P

| Guys I love everyones feedback.. Yes I accepted the apology the only reason was because he went out of his way to look for me to say it.. I know guys wear pink shirts but in our neighborhood everyones pup is color coordinated..blue boy and pink girl.. mistakes happen.. my new thing is to say yes Brandy is a boy I even change her name to Randy when people ask if she's a girl wearing a dress...lol people look at me funny and get it later that she's a girl other dog parents correct them..lol I mean bow, dress and rhinestones scream I'M CUTE AND A GIRL...lol boys are welcome to..xoxox
