Tell George he can name her whatever he wants to. I don't mind at all. She was Patience while she was here because she taught me to have patience. She also showed me that other than her small size she had " It " and Now I will look for that when evaluating future litters for show.

I like the name Mia. It's short, sweet, and feminine, but Patience is a fine name too. George was never much of a dog person until Lucy came along. Wow, has he ever done a 180 degree turn on me now. He is just crazy about the girls, and they adore him too. It's hard to believe this is the same guy I married 33 years ago (on St. Patrick's Day). I guess you really can teach an old husband new tricks! I hope changing Patience to Mia doesn't upset too many people here, but I'm deferring to my sweetheart on this one. Mia it is!

Miles' name used to be Cosmo - no likely lol. I, personally, prefer giving my pets human names as I see them as real "people". My cats' names were Bibi, my girl and Cody, my boy. I named a friend's cat Sterling as in a mans name rather than silver. I love that name and I have no human sons to give it to lol!!!
