| Please pray for little Dudley tomorrow Little Dudley vomited Frid.nite and I thought his tummy was just upset for some reason. He is never sick. Then, Sat.morn. more throwing up and he had not eat the whole week-end. Took him to the vet this morning and they did a Jr. Welliness on him, gave him shot for the nausea and another shot, I think that was for allergies. He had alittle rash on his tummy from something. They are on Blue Buffalo, canned & kibble. Anyway by the time we got through it was 400.00 worth of meds and tests. The vet called right before closing and said the radiologist seen something in his little tummy that didn't look right to her so he has to go back in the morning for a barium x-ray. Please pray there is no blockage. I don't know what it could be from because we are so careful with what they eat. Also, the B.B. has made them all so gassy its horrible. I am going to try to get them off canned and I bought Innovia small bites tonight. Thats what the vet recommended. My baby is so tiny and it kills me for him to be sick. Just please pray he will be okay. Thanks so much. |

| I guess there is always something when you have 4, but, we wouldn't trade them for anything. I usually never give them treats you buy at the store anymore because of so much crap in them but they like the little filet minon bones. THey are tiny and shaped like the greenies. They are actually a dental bone too. Dudley loves them and I always hold his until he is has eaten his. He is always so afraid Kayla is going to get it. I just hope there is not a blockage from one. I only give them one about every 2 or 3 weeks. Never again. For now on we are going to stick to our fruits & veggies. Dh is recuperating from surgery and then there is little TIna and now Dudley. If one more gets sick I am going to have a scream'in mimi. He has to be at the vet at 8:30 in the morning. I know they are not to eat, but she didn't say anything about water. Does anyone know if its okay for him to drink? |

| I will surely be praying little Dudley has a normal x-ray and this is just a food-related tummy inflammation or some gastroenteritis.

| Just went through something similar with Copper. You have my sympathy. It is so hard to have them sick expecially when they don't have much body weight to work with. I was a mess while Copper was sick. I will pray for your little one.

| Thank you so much. I thought they were doing ok on the Blue Buffalo. We have tried every food just about, available. I don't know if this could be the problem. I noticed that Lexi is having loose stools. Its hard because what might work for my 2 schnauzers might not work for my yorkies. On the x-ray his little tummy was just full of gas. I was telling my vet that Kayla could gag magets. I don't know what makes that food so bad for them. Now I have a whole cabinet full of the canned, 2bags of kibble. I guess I will just mix the kibble with the Innovia and Tina seems to do okay on BB. I will just let her eat it. I am just guessing at what it might be but I think the BB just might be the culprit. |

| Please keep us posted on poor little Dudley.....I know we all have our favorite dog food....everyone can give you recommendations....personally speaking, I have always fed all my dogs Royal Canin, they are started on it as infants and they go to their new homes on it....and I encourage the new owners to keep them on it. I read about all you poor souls on here, having all these issues with all these different kinds of food, trying to get the very best for your baby, but in many cases, getting so overwhelmed and confused and frustrated with all the varieties available.....I have never had any problems with any of my dogs tolerating Royal Canin, and they are healthy, with beautiful coats. I do NOT feed canned food, as I believe hard kibble helps with dental care. I hope Dudley does not have a blockage......bless his little heart....keep us posted.....we do care! |
