| trigeminal neuritis Wondering if anyone has any experience with trigeminal neuritis with their pup. My friend is going through this with her 8 year old shih tzu. Her dog can't close his jaw, tongue hanging out. She is keeping him hydrated by giving water every 2 hours with a syringe and has to cut his food up very small and place on the back of his tongue. Diagnosed on Thursday, is going to see a neurologist either Monday or Tuesday. They told her not much can be done, just needs a lot of supportive measures at home. Just wondering what your experience may have been, how long did it last, what kind of treatment was provided etc... Thanks for any input! Trying to help research for her!

| I'm so sorry for this sweetie. I don't anything about that, hoping someone will have some advice for you. I'm sure it's so heartbreaking for your friend. Sending prayers for this little one.

| I'm sorry I know nothing about this. But I can offer prayers for your friends baby, hoping they can find something to help him.
