So I looked up Puppy Pal kennels and found this review.

Most disgusting place I have ever been in. Bought a yorkipoo from this shop and 1 week later he started having seziures. I took him to the emergency and they said he had distemper! I think we need to keep this handy incase any newbies are looking to buy from a non AKC or Canadian (CKC) breeder. I really like how she explains the importance of the AKC standard and clearly labels this woman as a greeder.

Thanks for sharing the video - I agree with the others - Though cute as a button, he definitely looks more like a yorkie-poo or yorkie-chon than a Yorkie. I'm also glad Judge Judy knew her breeds and saw the seller for what she was! Great video!

What a cute yorkie-poo! I don't understand why people can't just be honest. She could probably sell it as a yorkie-poo and get a few hundred. It annoyed me at the end that she was still insisting that she was correct when she was blatantly caught in a lie. I'm not a breeder, nor have I known much about yorkies, but that bitch wouldn't even admit that the dog didn't resemble a pure bred yorkie. LIAR

The oldest and most recognized purebred dog registries in North America are AKC (American Kennel Club) CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) and UKC (United Kennel Club). The UKC is a well-respected registry for many rare breeds as well as those recognized by the AKC. UKC is the second oldest registry, behind AKC. If your dog is registered with anything other than AKC, United Kennel Club or the Canadian Kennel Club, the chances of your pup being bred by an irresponsible breeder rises dramatically.

I didn't notice that the first time, I'm not sure why that's in there. I've seen old cigarette commercials that were shown for a laugh, but this almost seemed like they were just showing a commercial. I know it's illegal in this country, but in many countries they still show commercials.

A couple weeks ago on Judge Judy, there was an episode of this dog owner (she owned a Yorkie name Gucci I think) and left it for someone to take care of him. When she came back, the defendant claimed the Yorkie ran away. But there were like three doors that he had to go through before running away. The plaintiff heard from friends that the defendant had sold the yorkie. I feel so bad for her, I don't know what I would do if someone did that to my baby.

Definitely an interesting case... This is why you buy from a reputable breeder and not a pet store or greeder. That dog definitely wasn't full yorkie and I'm glad the owner had the guts to take it to court.
