| Anyone got a big ole xanax for Miss Prissy to gnaw on, she has felt wonderful since the day after her spaying, eating, drinking, pooing and not having any accidents either. The hardest part is trying to keep her from jumping and going crazy...Better yet maybe I could use that xanax.

| My girl was the same way! We had the animal shelter do her. Someone had pointed out that they do tons and tons of spays, so they should be good at it. Maggie's went great, I am so glad she did not go through what some of the pups on here do. |

| Well Miss Prissy is running and playing, I can't handle her being so miserable...she is doing so well and not having any problems at all....cancel the drugs, I'm calling uncle.

| Don't take this the wrong way, but I am delighted she feels up to running around and playing, and is eating and doing everything 'normal'. Anything less and I'd be worried. I wouldn't deliberately tax her physically, and I'd try to occupy her with more quiet play and laptime as much as possible, but if she feels up to it, and it's not too strenuous...whatever 'it' is...she'll probably be just fine. Hang onto the Xanax, though.

| After day three I gave up. Gracie was not in any pain and there was just no stopping her. She did great though. No problems. We have no stairs except for her pet steps. She did jump up on the couch a few times but it didn't bother her a bit and she would be up there before I could stop her! |

| I don't really remember how we controlled her! I think I spent more time down on the floor with her so she wouldn't want to come up on the sofa. She doesn't really come on the bed unless one of us is there so I probably just put her up and down as I anticipated her desires. Tried to keep playing lower key....and kept an eye on her sutures. Not sure what they used. I know they were dissolvable and some of them took a long time to go completely away. I think they glued it too. I suggest keeping doors closed to rooms where she likes to do more running and jumping. Maybe I used the baby gate to confine her more (like before we trusted her not to potty in the house). Block off the stairs if you can, but like I said, she only goes up there if we are there so I could carry her up. I just know she slept the whole day of the surgery, slept late and was groggy part of the second, then she thought she was fine! I dread the day she ever needs any other surgery. SHe still gets the zoomies from time to time where she will race around the house like she's on fire! |

| I'm so glad she is doing so well! It's pretty much impossible to hold them back when they are feeling fine and dandy!

| Girls, Miss prissy wasn't even groggy the morning after. She honestly acts as if nothing has changed. I have tried all the quiet play and thankfully we have no stairs but she has jumped on the sofa and chairs a few times chasing after Yoshi. I even kept Yoshi in the office a couple of days and when she did see him well it was Katie Bar The Door, all heck broke loose. She really missed him and was anxious to show him. I'm just glad that it is over and she did so well, I really do feel blessed. Just pray that she doesn't hurt herself, oh and she jumps so high in her playpen,,,what's a girl going to do?
