| Vectra Does anyone on here use Vectra 3D? I have always used Advantix but this Vectra is the only product my vet is carrying and recommending right now. I purchased a single tube and was going to just put half on the girls. We are already seeing ticks here and I don't want them on my babies! I wish I didn't have to use it but with the amount of ticks and fleas here we have to use something.

| Interesting, I have heard several say that Frontline Plus wasn't working like it once did, I think they get an immunity to the med and we have to try something else...

| Frontline simply does not seem to work for us anymore. I'm curious about Vectra because I know my vets office carrying it now as well.

| Frontline doesn't seem to work at all here in our area. Advantix works pretty good. However, the tick gets on them and bites them then it kills them. Or that is the way it seems. I am not sure if Vectra is the same way. sophias mommy, did you put the entire tube on your furbaby? I was thinking about just putting half on Mikki and half on Rosie. Joyce Adams, I also read some of the reviews. That is why I was wanting to come on here and find out others experiences. I know that many of them have bad reviews including Advantix which we had great luck with. It is like any other products for our pups, just so confusing on what is best.

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | Funny that I read this this morning, yesterday I took my mom's Ruby for her heartworm test, and the vet suggested the Vectra 3 D I did buy a 3 month supply, the vet did told me that some people were having trouble with the frontline plus, so I guess I will have to wait and see I don't put flea meds until April.. hugs, Carmen |

Probably will just use Advantix this summer. He hasn't been on any flea/tick meds since November, and haven't seen any.

| I just purchased 6 months of Advantix online after reading reviews on here... I might have to read up on Vectra. It is so hard because there seems to be something negative about every product... Plus, it can't be good putting all those chemicals on their skin, but neither are fleas and ticks!

We are seeing some fleas here already, maybe because of the very mild winter and woods all around us, and trying to decide what to use next and what might actually work effectively with as little harm as possible. None seem 'safe' or effective, and chemicals for the yard are truly frightening so we've been looking at DE. So much does not seem to work for the Yorkies or the kitties, or makes their coats horribly icky and greasy, or only works for about 2 weeks, and the warnings for frequency are so dire it is scary to have to re-apply when you seem to need to. Hadn't heard of Vectra 3D, though. Should look into it, too.

Donating YT Addict | Have used it for two months. Always seems there is way too much liquid in tube. Works though.
