| ZoE has the goggle style doggles. My son bought them for her so she can ride in his jeep, with the top off. He has to start the jeep and THEN put them on her or she tries to take them off...but when the jeep is moving she does fine. I like the look of the sunglass goggles (and the cuter girlie colours/styles), but I've never actually seen those in person and wonder if they offer the same type of eye protection, as they appear to be open at the sides.

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | I think they are so cute! I showed them to the hubby and said KS needed some and he said 'NO WAY!' So I guess I got my answer on that one real quick. Maybe I can sneak some in?

| I had not idea what they were either - but Brandy and Max look so adorable!!! We are planning our vacation now - to a beach in Florida and we are taking Jack (first thing I looked for when I started researching places was "pet friendly" - then the number of rooms, etc... LOL) - I think we need to get some for him so he doesn't get any sand blown into his eyes....

So, I'm definitely getting them before we go down again. I love seeing the pictures of pups wearing theirs. So cute!

| I started a Thread "Sunglasses for Dogs" and asked other Yorkie Talk memebers if sunglasses were for fun or if they served a purpose. YorkofTheShire posted "The sun can be damaging to dogs' eyes over time. It has been proven that limiting the exposure to sunlight slows the formation of canine cataracts, too. It is encouraged that pet owners take their dogs for their walks either early in the morning or early in the evening, or both...but not during the part of the day where the sunlight is the strongest. Some canine cataracts are caused by other things, and lifestyle is a factor, but shielding your dogs eyes actually is recommended if they are out in the sun for long periods of time, especially the sunlight that occurs from late morning to early afternoon. =]" This was enough for me to read to order the doggles since I live in a place with sun all day, every day. My DH thinks it is not necessary, but when it comes to my baby, I will do all I can to keep her safe and healthy, even if it means putting adorable doggles on her

| We love our doggles. Bella wears her's when we go out on the motorcycle. We wear them to keep bugs, dirt and any debri out of her eyes while zooming around. |

| Our Doggles came Monday. I just got the sunglass types for now. I think the Copper pair does somewhat push toward Finni's eye, but the Pink does not. I think I'll get some of the goggle type as well for our next trip to the beach. Its extremely windy here today and the pups had no problem looking into the wind w/ their doggles on. The wind is apparently strong enough to blow 5lb Finnigan around, so we had to end the photo shoot abruptly. But here are a couple photos.
