| Can't find my little one Talk about a heart attack. Several nights ago I woke up to a Brandi barking. I immedialy jumped out of bed thinking Brandi was letting me know someone was in the house. Then I heard her barking again except I noticed she wasn't in the room with me. I sat and listened hoping she would bark again but she didn't. So I went downstairs thinking she was downstairs but she wasn't. I search the whole house and I couldn't find her. At this point I am frantic and somewhat disoriented because I am still groggy. It's like 3 in the morning and I'm like I know she is in here but where is she. I couldn't find her.....mind you I live a 3 story townhouse and I went up and down those stairs at least 3 times. The little stinker didn't bark at all but I knew she was in the house because I heard her barking earlier. It was what woke me up. It freaked me out because I thought a ghost had kidnapped her and she was in the walls. (okay I was still half asleep). Then it darn on me....she has a habit of going into the second story powder room to steal the cat poop. Sure enough that's where she was. I leave the door cracked for the cat but it will close if you bump it hard enough. She has locked herself in this powder room so many times you would think she would of learned by now....especially since she can't get to the litterbox anymore. Little stinker....when I let her out, she give me a whole bunch of kisses and the went back upstairs to bed. |

| How scary! I cannot imagine how you felt... I'm glad you found her. I bet she was happy when you opened that door!

| I know how you must have felt. I have lost Gracie in the house twice now. I went and got a bell for her collar after the first time. The second time she was napping on the couch under a blanket and never bothered to lift her head as I was calling her!! |

| So glad she was ok. Is this a case of returning to the scene of the crime?
