| Leaving the house in the evening There have been a few occasions where no one's been home in the evening with Nelly. When we leave we crate her and turn the radio on and when it's dark out I will dim the lights so it's not pitch black for her. I'm wondering if that's necessary...I know I wouldn't want to be left alone in the dark, but if she sleeps in her crate a night (which she doesn't always) its dark anyway so do you think she even cares? What's your opinion? |

| Ours are not left that much, espically at night but when they are we always leave lights and tv on. With him by himself I think it is safer in the crate too. Sometimes they get in trouble if they are alone and bored. Good luck with your baby. |

| Sophie Kate is crated trained, I leave a light on for her along with the TV (she likes to watch QVC). Sophie Kate does not sleep in her crate and night so I feel better having a light on for her.

| We too will have Prissy in her crate with the radio on, we have done this with Yoshi for years. We do it day or night when we are out. They also sleep in their crates at night with no music, I don't know why I use the radio during the day...Oh my now I am wondering if my dogs think I'm crazy. LOL
