YT 2000 Club Member | Thank you all for your kindness, prayers and suggestions, I can't tell you how much we appreciate it. Jazzie is doing better today, she even had her first bowel movement since her surgery just about a half hour ago, so I'm really happy about that. I know it can take a bit for them to go after having had surgery. I've caught her eating her kibble a few times out of her bowl in her kennel and I seen her drink a bit of her water on her own to, so I'm feeling a lot more at ease. She hasn't eaten or drank anything on her own today, so I did give her more kayro and water via a syringe. I feel pretty confindent now that she'll soon be back to her self and her eating and drinking will be back to normal before I know it. Now the problem I'm having with her is getting her to not jump. When I let her out of her kennel, the first thing she does is jump up and then runs to my bed and jumps up. I try to get her soon as she gets out of her kennel before she even jumps, but she's so darn fast and I can't always get her before she's on my bed and waiting for her huggles. I haven't let her and Mags together yet, since Jazzie came out of her shell, her and Maggy did nothing but play, play, play. Doc said not running, jumping, etc., so I've kept them apart rotating them in and out of the kennels when I'm here by myself, and then when my hubby gets home, he take Mags to the livingroom where she sits and whines and cries for Jazzie :-( Other than that, I think she's on the mend.
