| Really ferocious behind a fence Are any of your yorkies alot more daring behind a fence. My front yard is fenced and if someone walks by with their dog Chachi and Jewels will go out and bark at them very mean like. However if you take them out of the fence to the dog they will cower and try to get away. Same if the mailman walks by the fence they bark like they would bite if he came in but let someone come in our yard and they are like butter. Is this a yorkie thing? Kind of like a Napoleon type of personality its funny

| Brandi is all bark too . When the doorbell rangs, she will bark her little butt off. The one thing she won't do is run in front of me to see who is at the door. She will walk behind me the whole time I am walking to the door barking as loud as she can. And if she gets ahead of me, she will wait until I catch up with her. It's so cute because she is so ferocious as long as mommy is her bodyguard. She reminds of the little guy standing behind a huge body guard and the little guy is talking a lot of smack. Little stinker..... gotta love em. |

| Lol not my boys they will defend their home to the last breath I think. Snickers will bark looking right at your toes. If you step he steps back once or twice still looking at your toes. If you move again and he don't like you He puts on his USMC battle growl and goes to work. He will tear into a steel toe boot in no time ! I know he doesn't like one of my daughters friends He bared his steel toes on his boot in just a few swipes. His boys take after him except grumpy. He waits until his brother is attacking then he flanks you to keep you from escaping! Both of them at 5 lbs it's a scary site to see because they fight like they are 200 lbs and won't give up! We put them in cages when visitors come over that may not get along with the dogs. Not that it makes a difference some times. If Snickers doesn't like you and I forget to put the safety lock on he knows how to open the cage on his own and even taught the younger ones how to do it. Funniest things they do! |

Especially with the mail man... whoa, I think the new guy almost peed himself the first time he came to the door when I had the interior door open. YIKES !! One time he had to hold the door closed because it wasn't latched right. We have been working with them for the past year until cold weather set in. I think this spring we will work on providing treats for him to give to them when he comes to the door.
