| Potty situation.....not sure what to do My cat has recently started using the potty pads that Brandi uses. The cat using the potty pads does not stop Brandi from using them, it's just the cat always ends up scratching up the potty pads and they end up scrunched up. Needless to say this stops Brandi from using the potty pads. Brandi likes her potty pads to lay flat. I have one of the those thingys that hold the potty pads in place but the cat always seems to still tear it up. I took Zoey to the vets to make sure she was okay and she is. She's is playful and healthy as ever. I'm not sure why after all these years she chooses to urinate on Brandi's potty pads. Zoey is 13 yrs old. She will poop in her litter box but not potty in her litter box. Nothing has changed with her litterbox. I still use the same litter and the litterbox is in the same location. This behavior just started recently. I have Zoey for 13 yrs and Brandi for 5 years so Zoey has had plenty of time to adjust to Brandi. Any suggestions? Brandi is pottying where she is not supposed to because of this. As long as the potty pad remains flat, Brandi will use it even if the cat uses them too. I just don't want Brandi to stop using her potty pads altogether because of this. |

| My guess would be that the cat might be trying to mark or reclaim her territory. I had to let my cats outside bc when i brought my babies home they would pee on everything that belong to them. I went through this with 2 separate kids and cats both cats neutered males and had never used the potty anywhere other than the litter box. So even though they have adjusted to one another the cat may just be trying to show dominance or possibly jealousy.

| My one yorkie will use the litter box if she has the opportunity when it is raining or very cold instead of pottying outside. Could you put more than 1 potty pad setup?
