I have used coconut oil with great success. I have several Yorkies ranging from 13 weeks to 5 years and in the winter time they tend to have really dry hair due to the heat being on alot. So I mix a tablespoon of melted coconut oil in with the conditioner and work it in for a few minutes then rinse. it works really well with moisturizing their hair again.

Isn't it great?! YT has given me models as to how I would like to raise Darla. And let my tell you Darla is loving all this new pampering she is getting. I think my excitement of it all has even become contagious, cause my hubby wasn't much of a pet person and is now treating Darla with tender loving care. He is even including her in our vacation plans

Lol It is so cute how they steal our hearts and then all we can do is pamper them like crazy.

I used Chris Christensen Day to Day on Riley...... then I emailed the company to get their recommendation. They recommended the Spectrum 10 Shampoo so I bought a trial of that. I have the Madan brush and comb...and I use the Ice on Ice spray in between washings, usually
every few days

I think they also sell the kits at Amazon.com

Your DH will be taken in by these little babies. They grab your heart and run with it. And then there is no turning back! Our girls are treated just like family. When we go on vacation, they are right there with us. The best part is they love the pampering and being included. Getting a Yorkie is an amazing part of my life. When I first joined YT Rosie was sick. Since then I have learned about foods, shampoos, brushes, training, etc. But most of all I can honestly say that I have made some dear friends.

I am definitely going to try this when I give Darla her next bath. I'm really aiming on growing Darla's hair to be luxurious and healthy. Thanks for the tip.

I use Bergamot essence in my shampoo, I am using the Oster shampoo for Yorkies and then I mix bergamot with it, it helps with the shine of the coat.

I did the same thing brushing my babies coat dry and using the wrong brush. I used olive oil on her coat just a little on your hands and run it through her coat. It helped with the dry and split ends. I hope this could help for you too.

Hello! I used virgin coconut oil to prevent the moisture of their hair, do you know about the benefits of using virgin coconut oil to our dog? A healthy dog will see to their coating and sometimes the quality of the dog food that you prepared for your dog is one of the reason why this happen. So you need to ask the expert about the quality of the food that you give to your dog, I know i'm not an expert but I have a little knowledge and information about the high quality dog food for dogs with allergies since your dog have a sign of allergic reaction about her food, I think this will help your situation.
