I so need a good shampoo for Brandy.. her coat is dry and she's itchy.. the vet said to use an oatmeal shampoo I tried it Brandy hated it.. What to do? What do you use and where can I get some..

I have heard alot of good things about "Yorkie Splash and Shine" I ordered some today from Yorkie Splash - Yorkshire Terrier Shampoo and Yorkie Grooming Products.

I've used Pethead, which you can get from Petsmart, and right now I'm using Nootie that I got from Petco!

I have used Oatmeal shampoo by calm coat with my Prada, in the cold winters her skin gets dry and she gets itchy, I tried a few shampoos but the only one that really worked was this one, I used the conditioner on her too..

Harry Barker Oatmeal shampoo and conditioners... love the scent and it keeps them silky, not greasy.

I am using Yorkie Splash and Shine. I really like it. Neither of my girls have had any problems using it.

I very seldom find Oatmeal shampoos are good they usually make the problem worse.
EArthbath, available at most pet stores,Petsmart I think Petco and others has a Green Tea shampoo or a Tea Tree Oil & Aloe shampoo. Both have worked very well for skin issues on Yorkies. they are very thick, dilute or use small amounts and lots of water to lather. When you rinse, rinse really well.

Jenny at toplinepet.com used to have samples. You might check and see if she still does.

thank you I will check Brandy's coat is dry..I'm not sure if it's from the heat inside or the cold outside.. so they have doggy leave in conditioners?
