| just saw the pics, please make sure you see the dr. do not wrap the burn, keep it clean and exposed. I recently had surgery on my left shoulder, long story short I tried to iron, in my discombobulation, I grabbed the hot part of the iron, immediately submerged it in ice water for a good half hour...anyways I went to PT for the shoulder and asked to have my hand wrapped so I could exercise. They put that new synthetic ace bandagey type material on it and told me specifically, "take it off as soon as you get home and don't wrap or bandage it as it will take longer to heal". Hope this helps, but as always the best advice you can get is from your own doctor, er or urgent care facility. Feel better

| Thank you everyone! My burn doesn't even hurt anymore! It is still really read and blistered on my thumb, but I can use my hand without any pain now. It'll probably scar but I honestly don't care about scars. To me they're just battle wounds to show what I survived (lol). You guys are great and I appreciate the concern for me, and the happiness for Lolas ongoing safety!
