| I have both the Pet Gear and the Snoozer carseats (I bought the Snoozer so my parents could stop by & pick her up on days I end up working really late). I thought you had the Pet Gear too, so you know the seat form is made from polystyrene and the sides are firm. ZoE likes this when riding around town, because she stands in her seat and puts her front paws on the side and looks out the window. I know some don't feel the sewn-in strap is as secure (and I did shorten mine because it was too long), but we don't use it, as we also have a strap that buckles into the actual seat belt, so she is super secure AND she can see out the windows well. The Snoozer seat form is made from foam....like your couch/sofa cushions...so it is definately softer (including the sides). I had the medium PetGear & so bought the medium Snoozer thinking they'd be the same, but the Snoozer is actually ALOT bigger and ZoE can stretch out and lay down in it just like its a bed. I might try using the Snoozer on my next trip across state to visit my kids at college and see how ZoE likes it on long trips on the boring freeway where she loses interest looking out the windows and just sleeps. I find the Pet Gear harder to buckle in, but believe how it buckles in makes it very secure, even though I don't enjoy the hassle of moving it from vehicle to vehicle, so I'll stay put in my Stang. The Snoozer is very easy to buckle in and it would be no problem moving it between vehicles.

| Yup I have the Petgear and Gizmo isn't too fond of looking out. So, despite already spending 40+ dollars on it. I decide now that I want a snoozer

| Just got ours last week. It's been in our den since then so our pup can jump in that to reach the sofa and to get used to it. We don't travel too much yet since he hasn't had all his shots but he likes it. He snuggles down in it with toys and stuff. He seems to like the higher sides in the car too. |

| I originally bought my Snoozer for my cat. He loves it. Then we got Zeus...and he loves it. Of course, Zeus goes for my car rides that Ody does, but when they're together, it gets a bit squishy, lol. Neither have a problem seeing outside the windows, but I have loosened the tethers a bit so they can stand and look out.

| We LOVE our snoozer!!!!! I got the My Buddy Lookout from Petco.com when they were having a site wide sale. Then I found a coupon code to use on top of it. The seat was normally $169.99, on sale for $129.95, and after coupon code (10%off +free shipping) it was $116.95 shipped |

| I've never heard of these. How do they secure your dog in so he/she won't fly out in case of accident? Right now I have the Sherpa carrier used for carrying pets onboard plane permanently seat belted on my back seat (using 2 different belts). It's mesh so Charlie can see out but he sure whines a lot. |

| There is a seatbelt that attaches to the dog harness, that seatbelt is attached to the cars seatbelt (securely). Also should add that the car seatbelt goes through slots on the back of the Snoozer to keep the seat secure also.

| We have the PetGear in large and it has two tethers for Khloe and Couver. We are pretty happy with it... It has a removable cover that you can wash (it says not to, but we have ). The only thing is it's kind of a pain to take in and out of the car. It is not the easiest to strap in, so I try not to move it if I can avoid it. The Snoozer looks pretty soft and comfy. Because the PetGear seat isn't super soft, I always have a blanket (or two) on it so they can nest and make a nice bed for themselves.

The PetGear IS a pain to strap in and move between vehicles, so I just keep it strapped in my car. After the test run, we much prefer the PetGear to the Snoozer. Here's a pic of ZoE in her Snoozer during our evening outing.
