Donating YT 10K Club Member | Kibble alert, kibble alert I have kibble out all day for Trace to munch. He routinely takes one piece from the bowl, takes it to a carpet runner, eats it, and begins the whole process again. Anyway, he was doing the kibble thing and I noticed he was pawing at his mouth. Now I'm thinking something....string, cob webs, dirt, a leaf...was on his face and he wanted it off...in other words...didn't give it much thought. UNTIL....he came over to me, stood on his hind legs with his paws on my leg, wanting to be picked up. He rarely ASKS to be held. When I scooped him up...I could hear rattling breathing. He was choking on a piece of kibble.... Stuck my finger down his throat and got it out...woooo, that was scarey, so glad he came to me for help They surprise me sometimes how smart they are.

| Yeah! It doesn't take them long to learn to come to you, when they trust you, to get help. I'm so glad he's OK now.

| I'm glad he is alright. Next time something like this happens, give him a gentle whack on the side of his tummy right where his ribs end. he will spew it right out. |
