I just found this link and thought I would share it. I am definitely going to switch my plates!

Illinois has Pet Friendly plates that money goes to spay and neuter. I have had them since they came out.

Motor Vehicle Division Large Image

$25 initial application fee/ $25 annual renewal. No special requirements. Available to everyone.

$17 goes to a special fund for spaying and neutering of animals. May be ordered online. May be personalized with maximum of 6 characters.

How do you find out if your state has these plates? I'm fairly new to NV, and the DMV didn't offer me any vanity plates or special plates when I got my new ones.

Now comes the fun part. You can choose (if it's not taken) what you want the plate to say. I have a current specialty plate but it has 7 spaces and the new one only allows only 6.
