| how often play with your puppy?and dosen't like petted as meeshas getting older i'm letting her get a little more independant and let her play on her own, i feel bad though and end up playing on the floor with her a few times a day, when i first got her she was never alone and had someone to play with her at every waking moment, she dosen't cry now that i leave a room which is great and isnt stuck to me like glue like she first was when i first took her home, how often should i be playing with her on the floor? also is it unusual for a yorkie puppy to not want to be petted, i try to pet her she'll bite me playfully or if i try to touch her while shes sleeping she'll move away from me or hide her face in blankets, she wants nothing to do with me and won't sleep close to me anymore, she use to be so cuddly?..she wont even stay on my lap anymore she'll squirm to get down |

| ZoE is much more independent and less clingy now at a year old than she was for the first 6 months. She still likes to cuddle at night, and will lay on my lap if I'm staying still for a long time, like when watching a movie. But other than that, its about 20 seconds of cuddle time and then she wants down. I try to spend at least three solid sessions of tug, or fetch every night, and take her for a walk or at least outside to run around in the yard, weather permitting. I feel bad that she's alone during the day while I'm at work...mostly sleeping...so feel she needs some active time during the evening.

| thanks maybe its normal the more independance i give her the less cuddly she is? lol i miss how cuddly she was at first, the only time she'll let me cuddle her is if i pick her up and put her on my chest, even then when shes ready to get down she'll start to squiggle out |
