I had to share the cutest pic of Bailey before the BCS game last Monday, even though our team lost. She was still looking super cute supporting our Tigers!

The other picture is her resting today, 2 days after her spay

She's getting plenty of rest. Wish I were too! But unfortunately I've been so worried about her continuing to try and lick her staples. I can't wait till this is over with! I just pray she will stop trying to lick, so that it won't get infected. I feel like a mom with a newborn. I have to keep reminding myself why I did this.

wee soul she'll be fine, did your vet not give you a spray to stop her from licking or a soft collar

What a precious little angel! We were watching the BCS game too. I am originally from AL and was at home watching it with family. And Katie Scarlett's spay is tomorrow! So we have a lot in common.

I am a nervous wreck for her spay, but I know it has to be done. I hope your little angel rests well and recovers quickly! Cute pix!

Awww, she's precious

Maybe someone can run to the store for you and get some newborn sized onesie's. You just put it on her upside down, so that the snaps are on her lower back, with her tail sticking out. Then undo it for potty times. That should deter her and you will be able to relax a bit.

I bought a cone from the vet yesterday morning, but it's horrible and way too big. Someone else mentioned the onesies and so I got one the other day which was too short, so i got her a bigger size and it helps, but she still is sneaky and tries to lick! That's why it stresses me out! She's fine if i'm here watching her b/c mostly she's sleeping. But when she's awake, she will try and lick it. I ordered the Kiss-e collar from Bo! It won't be here until Thursday though.
