Miracle!!!!! I don't know what happened but I beleive in miracles now !!!!!!!!! I lost my Armani on Feb 14. He was attacked by a pitt, animal services took his little body and I was going crazy he was my love :(. Tonight I got a call from animal services saying they found my dog and they gave me the chip info and when they gave me the name I went into shock I told the man "that cant be I lost him almost 1 year ago and animal services took his body!!!" He said I dont know what happend but he is in my truck and healthy and happy just a little matted :eek:. I Don't know what to do or think I have been crying for 2 hrs. I cant pick him up till tomorrow. |

OMGG that is a miracle!so it wasn't him that got killed then last year.. where has he been the whole year, what an amazing way to start the new year to have your baby you thought you lost back after all this time!! |
I know he was dead thats what the person from animal services told me when he took the body I dont understand how can this be? He was bleeding from his neck and was not moving I know because I got to hold him and say goodbye |

Saying prayers that this is your baby and he'll be back in your arms tomorrow! I hope they didn't remove your dogs chip and place it in another dog. I'm sure you'll know if he's the right one. I do believe in miracles! I sure hope this is one. |

could it have been another yorkie the pitt attacked? .....did they say it was a yorkie when they called for you to pick him up and not another dog the chip was placed in..., i pray for you that it is him safe and sound and this isn't some cruel mix up |

I agree with everyone above, be careful. This does sound highly unusual. I don't understand why animal control would have taken your baby last year after the attack. If he were still alive, why didn't they contact you right away? Where did they take him to get the costly treatment for his injuries? I would love for you to get your miracle. |

Sorry, a second thought.... Have you considered calling up the animal services that picked up Armani and see if you can get information on him? I don't know if they keep records...but it might help? |
This happened Feb 14th the pittbull next door attacked my boy and we called animal services. They took the pitt and my boys body. They never called me back and never received a letter or anything but they did tell me they were going to put the pitt to sleep. |

I remember when this happened last year. I really hope it is Armani and not just a weird mix up. You'll know if it is him I have no doubt. I'd have a lot of questions for animal services either way. Please keep us posted. Be safe, don't go alone and try to not get your hopes up just in case. |

Wow! I hope this is your baby! Medically, it is possible, as when dogs go into shock or coma, their bodies will shut down temporarily, and for all intents and purposes they will appear dead. |

And, what about his little buddy Chihuahua that he was running with & picked up with that hes most likely been living with for the past year & is now attached to. What will happen to that poor little dog, sitting there in the cage watching it's best friend going home with someone else while it has to stay there in the cage along now. If I were the OP I would take them both back home with me as you know that Armani will miss his little friend terribly.:( |
