| I was speaking to a vet about this at one point a few years ago (well, spoke to a few different ones) and he was the only one to have came across this problem... But it was years ago when chips were still a new concept, and the dog had an auto immune disorder (I think) which caused it, or contributed to it; I'm not 100% sure, but it wasn't a normal reaction by any means, and a rejected chip wasn't even near the highest priority in tryig to save the dog. But don't quote me on that- as I say I can't entirely remember the details! Are you experiencing this problem? If so, I'm Soo sorry to hear it and hope the vet can correct the problem and your furbaby is feeling better in no time!

| Our dogs are chipped and our deceased dogs were chipped. We never had a problem. In our Chihuahua you could very slightly feel it under her skin for a long time, but it wasn't causing any problem. It didn't move around for her. Our dogs have the Home Again microchips and they now have a texture or are made with something to help keep the chips in place. |

| Gracie was chipped when she was a year old and just under 5 pounds. She has never had a problem. I could feel it under her skin for the first few months but cannot feel it now. At her last check up it was still working fine. I hope never to have the need for the thing but I'm glad that she has it. |
