| Night Vision We're trying to gauge if my 10 week old, Sophie, is actually the age the breeder said she was. What age do they get their night vision? Not that her age matters, I'm thankful to have HER, not just a puppy. Any info would be helpful. Thanks! |

| I have never run across any info about night vision developing at a certain age. Maximo seemed to have it when I brought him home at 13 weeks. There are better indicators of age, I believe. Teeth, maybe? Did she have her baby teeth in? Your vet can give you a pretty good idea of age. If you haven't already, you should bring your pup in for a wellness exam and schedule any vaccinations that still need to be done. Some of the experienced breeders can probably give you an estimate of age based on pictures. I think pups have a distinct look at 6 weeks, 8 weeks, 10 and 12 weeks.
