Hello. I am in the process of purchasing male yorkie. Now my puupy is only 4 weeks and i cant bring him home so I am doing a little research before he come to make sure i know all there is to know. When I browsed the web for questions about Yorkies i was sent to this site. So i decided to become a member. So far i am learning a lot about caring for Yorkies that I couldn't find elsewhere. If you have any suggestings please feel free to coment. Thanks!!!

Hi and Welcome to YT! Congratulations on your new puppy!

If at all possible... see if your breeder will keep him with his Mom till he's 12 weeks old.... they learn so much from their Moms and littermates between 8 and 12 weeks, when they're allowed to stay.

no the breeder says i can get him at 7 weeks but I think I'm going to let him stay until 8 or 9 weeks
